Head corrosion
Hey guys! I have not been on the forum in quite a while because of work, soccer and life in general. Also, a couple months ago my little white toy developed a problem . . . she blew a head gasket!
So today I pulled it over to the shop and started her repair. When I got the head off I noticed some electrolysis had created some pretty deep pitting. I have seen this before on Toyota's and have had some success getting the pitting filled at a welding shop before resurfacing the head. What experience do you guys have with this type of problem? I am afraid that just resurfacing will not take out all the low spots. Anyone have a good head available?
