fuel pumps?

ok i just got done reading the alina thread.. boy that was something.

well what i'm wondering is if the fuel pump i just bought is compatible with a early style.. as i know the early one is like a skinny can. and the one i just bought is like a fat henican can.. well are they compatible?

yes. They actually are the same basic size but the late one has a ton of sound deadening/insulation. I had the same question because I had an 87 turbo pump spring a leak and I dropped on a pump from an 84. Seems to work fine. The hookups are identical.
