I got a lock nut broken right down to the stud threads any idea how to get it off?

If you don't have all the tools, It will take a shop 2 minutes and cost you about 25 USD to have them take it out.

No, you will need to get one from a Porsche Recycler, but you can drive the car around with 4 lug nuts until you get the new stud, its not a big deal.

I did the same thing at Many944s shop last summer. I ended up hammering an impact socket onto the broken nut and was able to twist it off.

I've used an air chisel to get lock nuts off before. Did the job pretty well.

Anyone know if one of those gator grip sockets would work? Was in the hardware store today was gonna pick one up but it looked a little small.
