Good ignition switches
I replaced a half arse good ignition switch maybe 3 months ago, and the new one is already toast. The only reason I changed it is because the radio would come on less than 10% of the time, otherwise it works fine, and will be a backup for times like these. My question is who makes a switch that will last more than 90 days? FYI, this is the plastic electrical portion of the switch.
It's not a huge deal, as it takes maybe 10 minutes to change, but had I been on the road at night it would have. I should have known a $10 switch wouldn't be worth a damn.

hmm. my ignition switch went south about 5 years ago. i was going to order one from pelican, but FR.WILK asked if there was a VW garage close by. actually one less than 1 mile. i was told to ask for ignition switch for a 72 beetle !! dont laugh, its actually the same part as oem. 5 years on and no problems. btw, it only cost $11can.
now, if only the master/slave cylinders were the same ! bob.
