Question power steering mount

i have a power steering mount that i need to replace on my 87 944na. the part number on the replacement is 944 101 142 OR. can anyone tell me if i have the right one ? i understand they are proprietary to the year of the car. thanks coastie.

The lower front balance shaft housing is interchangeable between engines. I have found them on Ebay for reasonable prices. Check the inside bushing diameter and the shaft diameter for the proper clearance before installing the new one.

Actually there are different ones. Ones from an early engine will not work on a late engine. You need one from a late car.

I might have one, but wont know till tomorrow night.

If you have not done so...now is a good time to take the pump out and rebuild it.

After you rebuild the pump and replace any leaking lines, the PS is like brand new
