1983 Porsche 944 idle
The idle on my car is acting up. Whenever I start it up cold or hot low idle
surfaced. It has rebuilt injectors, air flow meter, and new crankshaft position sensors. |

Check for vacuum leaks, especially at the large hoses under the intake manifold (very prone to deterioration), the J boot between the throttle body and AFM, and the intake manifold gaskets. The ISV may need to be cleaned out if it's stuck or sluggish, as well.

I replaced the intake manifold gasket when I changed all those large
vacuum hoses under the intake manifold. The J boot were replaced a few years ago. |
