Wire Problems

I need to know about the wires under the dash board. Does anyone have pics or diagrams to help me out? I don't know what wires go to what.

Check out www.clarks-garage.com

Also might want to get a hold of a haynes manual. They are cheap. Most libraries even have them.

What specifically do you need to know?

My new deck I can't get it to work in my car. I swear all my wires are hooked up correctly. I have been working on that for two days now and I'm starting to get a little frustrated. I can't see what the problem is. So, I am going to take my dash board off and see if I can get to the fuse box and take a look at where my wires are going and if there hooked up.

You need to lead us a tad better. We have no idea what you have, 924,944,951,968,S,S2'S.

Let me see if I can......

It's the 2.5 amp radio fuse, there's a holder for it, it's a capsul type, should be a 5x20mm. Radio shack has them on the shelf. Part 270-1053 Early 944 or late?

Check the two red/red black wires off the relay. They should be hot when the key is inserted into the igntion. The relay is above the gas pedal, and towards the center of the car, one is for the windows The one closer to the firewall is the radio relay. If it clicks, it's good. If you have power on both red/ red blacks, it's the fuse. Is the deck good? It's hot right?:;)

Edit:

The ignition switch is probably melted.
