A riddle for you, Batman
Sorry, double post, so I'll just give ya'll another picture.
 Because I just passed my smog/safety checks today. One year ago, the car was dead and headin' for the crusher with a blown out clutch and a leaky steering rack. Now, I drive it to work.

The rack and clutch were the biggies, everything else was minor stuff that was just worn out, tires, brakes, filters, shocks a couple burnt out bulbs, etc. Most of the stuff I just replaced to be sure it would pass instead of taking the chance it wouldn't.
The first time through they said the parking brake was binding up and needed fixed, but I managed to loosen it with some WD40 to the point it worked freely again.
