85.5 944 na no start

Hey guys, I picked up a sweet 944 that doesnt run for pretty cheap. I realized that fuel pump wasnt turning on, tested it, adn pump was no good. So I replaced the pump, and went to start it, adn still a no go. Here is what I have, and maybe one of you who have picked apart these cars can give me a hand. I did the pump, adn drained all the gas out, and filled with fresh. Car sat for a couple years in a garage. I have spark, and noid to the injecters. It will run on either, so its a fuel prob. My injecters ohm out at 2.5 each, which i assume is ok. Do you think varnish gummed up all my injecters. They definetly are not firing. Any ideas on cleaning them. Thanks all

pull the rail(4 bolts) hold it a few inches up, put a towel under it and have someone crank it, watch for a spray from each injuector, work from there, if you need a set drop me a pm

Get a BIG screwdriver and holding it like a pool que, tap gently but firmly at the bottom of each injector where it joins the intake manifold. After sitting for a few months (years?) the injectors have a tendency to "bind up". Tapping the injector helps "unbind" them. If it doesn't work the first time, tap them again while someone else cranks over the engine. This "tapping the injectors" trick has worked for me and a few other on this and other forums.

Woops...didn't fully read the previous post about you soaking them in brake cleaner. I just scanned it and thought it was someone's suggestion for fixing the problem.
