Sunroof cable question
Should the cable extend out like this?
If not does it just need to be adjusted or is something likely broken? Thanks

NO!
What has happened is that either the black plastic joiner connecting the motor assembly to the tube up to the gears has separated, or the white plastic arm on the motor assembly has broken. Take things apart and it should be obvious. To put things back, look at Clark's Garage or the shop manual. Several things to get set up correctly if you want to not strip your lifting gears. Good luck, Keith

Great, thank you!
Oh, that arm! Yea, I can feel a white plastic arm, it rotates independent of the wheel and - from what I can see w/o removing the motor assy. - the cable runs thing an eye on the end of it. I'll pull it off and have a look. Thanks again.
