Low oil pressure

Once the car is warmed up while idle the oil pressure drops and the light comes on. If i give it a little gas it goes back up and the light comes off. In higher rpms its between 2 and 4.

What weight oil are you running? These cars should have at least 5W-40 unless it's consistently sub-zero temps outside. It could be a lot of things like bad bearings, slipping oil pump drive gear, cracked pickup tube, bad or too thin oil, sticking OPRV. Any noises involved?

Those are all acceptable reasons. I am dealing with the exact same problem. In my case, the power steering pulley has been worn to a point where it's no longer putting proper pressure on the oil pump drive gear, and it's not creating pressure (This is my current theory). Eliminate the more simple options though like thin/old oil, sticking OPRV (oil pressure relief valve). I'm going up to 20W50 oil to thicken it as well as replacing my pulley gear.

I started running 15/50 Mobil 1 and never have a pressure problem... except after double digit laps on the track and even then it only goes down to 4 bar.
