944 wipers
Is it just my 83' or do these things have the slowest windshield wipers of all time?
If it is just my car, is there a fix or anyone have a suggestion. |

Not too sure about the earlies, but mine are normal.
I would check your grounds, as that is often the problem. Cheers, Keith

I do have problem witht the earlies 944 wipers motor I have replace with rebuild wiper motor which it is hard to find even an rebuild motor. I find it is slower then the late model.
The earlier 944 wiper motor is easier to re and re then the later model, I did try to save the motor before replacing with a rebuild but the gear was wear out badly. Good luck ------------------------ Bud |

If you think 944 wipers are slow drive an older Porsche. Given enough re-enforcement / time, you will come to understand that nothing made in Germany by Germans ever has any defects. Zee design ist perfect... Drive faster and use some RainX.

Motor is getting old gears need lube. Also is the plastic cover in place protecting the motor form the rain snow etc? Unless it is a race car it is very important that the plastic cover be in place.
