D-cap wires, what on which?
Stupid question. I was trying to to see if I had spark on my car (I dont, but was doing it by myself, so I dont really know for sure). I took the D-cap off to inspect it, and the cap had numbers on the "tits". Top left was numbered 4, top right was numbered 2, Middle was the ignition coil wire, bottom left was numbered 3, and bottom right was numbered 1. But when I took the plugs off the D-cap Top left went to spark plug 1, top left wire went to plug 4, ignition wire, obvious, bottom left wire went to plug 3, and bottom right went to spark plug 2.
Top and left to right. Numbered on D-cap #4 #2 I #3 #1 When I took them off the wires lead to spark plugs #1 #4 I #3 #2 Which is right? I looked this up a few years ago and found it, but cant find it anywhere now. My car was running OK, it was running at least and one night it just didnt start up.
