suspension probs...

On my '91 S2 cabriolet when i hit a bump the car seems to wobble or shimmy. It seems to corner fine but something just doesn't feel right. I know this is vague but any ideas what I should be looking at? I had the rear up and the bushings all look ok, nothing felt loose when i pulled on it, and the car doesn't bounce after jumping up and down on the back bumper, seems to settle quickly. The front end, I recently snugged up the bearing on the right side and that eliminated the play I had felt in the wheel when moving it back and forth by hand. Everything looks ok from a simple visual inspection. Thx

I suspect the bushings in my 944S's rear suspension are shot. The rear is squirlley at times, as if the entire suspension is wiggling. It is more noticeable with the 265/17 tires than with the original fitment 215/15s.

If you have wide tires, you need an alignment that takes them into account.

Is any of this familiar to what you're experiencing?

thats just what it feels like, but the bushings look good and the wheels and tires are original size. I'm not absolutely sure about the bushings but i tried prying them with a tire iron and they did not seem sloppy.
