breather hose question
I just scavenged a stock air box for my 1988 944 n/a to replace the K&N that was on it when I bought it. There is a missing breather hose that attaches to the air box. What I am trying to figure out is where the other side of the breather hose goes.
Thanks.

The air box has a "Snorkle" that attaches to the TOP right belt covers (under top radiator hose).
Porsche TSB removal of snorkle prevents water from a deep wash getting into air box. ![]() GL John_AZ 1988 924S + 1987 924S |

Oh, common sense I guess. Never knew what the hose was for. Just thought it was for "cooling down the belts and all that jazz in there" Water would mess anything up in there, rust anything?
