944 oldstyle to new style sunroof drive convertion...

Hi there 944 enthusiasts !!!

I’ve read a technical article related to the 944 Sunroof Operation. What can I say ? EXCELLENT ARTICLE !!!!

Well, according to that article, I have the “old style” sunroof in which the guide tubes for the short sections of the flexible drive cable are routed such that the drive cables move the lifting arms directly (no plastic gears). One of this drive cables is broken. I looked for this part in Internet and the part number for this piece is 944-564-941-00. Here is my question:

Can I convert my old style sunroof to the new style sunroof by replacing only the lift lifts ? Now, I don´t know if the sunroof drive assembly (944-564-941-00) comes with the lifting arms.

I will be very grateful if someone could help me…
