Plumbing an Accusump
Hi,
I am looking to add an accusump to my 86 944 race car. What is the most popular, or best, way to plumb it into the oiling system. Thanks Ed

There is a block that you can buy with accusump that sandwiches in between the oil filter and the oil filter mount on the oil cooler. This has an AN fitting that you connect the line of the accusump to.
Here is the page for the sandwich kits: http://www.cantonracingproducts.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?search=action&searchstart=0&category=2282 There is no kit for the 944, but if you get the specs on the 944 filter (OD, thread size) it probably matches up to one of those listed.
