Porsche Crest Now the owner of a 93-968-coupe

Finally found the right one, after looking for a couple of months and being to hell and back I finaly found a very nice 968 coupe with 50,000 mils on it, about three hours ride from home ,this one I could see, touch & drive ,no more pics & wild description .I've learn one thing during the process ,never trust pics and Owners unless you see the car, suspension is Bilstein insert /adjustable struts front, Bilstein sport in the rear,Cup 17"wheels-255-40 rear 225-45 front, hold the road like a GO-CART very enjoyable on curvy roads. My 944 n/a is sold not without regrets since I had put so much time in it sorting it out, but then the 968 is really what I wanted after all those years and a very different animal , Do any off you know were I can get a maintenance manual ( similar to the Haynes) for the 968 will appreciate your inputs, Also will like to thank my good friend (Rob 944s2 a pelican member) for helping me out buying that car. His knowledge of porsch'es and advices did came in very handy.******* will tried to send pics shortly.

hooray

glad to hear it. If you don't have docs give the car a good appraisal and do all the PM you can think of. I suggest orienting yourself by cleaning the car inside and out. Inspect EVERYTHING. replace anything that looks hinky. at 50K it is just a baby, so with good care you should get plenty o miles out of her.

I found the 968 FSM online, but I cant remember where. It's not nearly as spread around as the 944 FSM pdf's.

Porsche Crest thank you guys

Sol Reaver, the car had a ppi before the deal was seal, and as I write this reply IT's in a shop for belts and water pump replacement, also will change all the wheels bearings, repack the CV and change all the fluids including tranny, this was parts of deal when i bougth the car, the ex- owner is paying for the parts and labour mention above, I'm paying for all the (FLUIDS).The car was only driven on rare occasions so I'm not taking any changes. The cleaning details I'm taking care off, this guy that sold it to me his idea of cleaning cars was to cover it with a tarp in the garage.Honda Dustr glad to hear you're still out there and wrenching,Eric I download all the infos from Cannell, thank's very nice to have all the infos I need. still trying to sends pics but having a hard time.
