Wheels sizing

What were the largest wheels offered on the 944NA (early or late model/offset)? From what I've seen it was 16x7 front and 16x8 rear on the late offset car (with sport option).

Also, what are the largest wheels the car can fit? I am more interested in width than diameter.

THANKS!

Anyone? Would I be able to run 15x9 all corners or is the max at the front 15x8? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I know 8.5 will fit up front, and 10s will work in the back. Proper offsets, of course.

on one of my 944's i have 9x15 rear and 8x15 front fuch's. (early car) the tires in front do hit the wheel house's at a very hard full lock turn .the person i got the wheels from did not buy the right size tires for the rims. when the tires are shot i will go back to 7x15 fronts and 8x15 rears. i have found that they are the best size for a low HP & TORK NA 944 .
