Clean up? - secret Tootsie Roll stash

The insurance co. decided they want pics before they finish writing the policy. While taking pics of everything I can think they might want I notice:
then

To clean the rest I was thinking waterpic low setting or wrapping moist gauze around a piece of tongue depressor and the allis forceps to reach the far part of the cavity. Other suggestions?

What exactly is going on here? You have a bug issue with it hoarding tootsie rolls?

I'd use a bunch of lift off/goof off... soap and water and blasting likely won't get residuals...

No I just wasn't sure how much water I could blast in there. I didn't want to cause problems with the heater stuff there. The residue is currently soft and sticky so shouldn't take much. Just way too weird a place to keep your stash. At least it wasn't illegal stuff, just a sugar high.

Great post. It definitely made me smile. Reminds me that I should check my stash area for more than the leaves I can see.

I found a partially smoked cigarette when I took my front bumper off. Not quite as exciting as tootsie rolls though.

Clean and dry

Waterpik worked great. Clean w/ less than 10 oz of water. But revealed drain hole was plugged, not really a surprise. Waterpik full blast took a bit and about 60 oz (repeat blotting w/ paper towel to adsorb) to clear the drain. Great feed back as it started to drip from underneath.
