New 944 owner :)
Hello,
my name is Johan, I'm 26yo and from Antwerp, Belgium. After owning a 911 for about 2 years, and totalling it eventually... ![]() ![]() ![]() ... it was time for a 944 project car ![]() ![]() ![]() It's a late 84 N/A that has been off the road for about 6 years, so first plans will be a belt job, front oil seals, water-pump, ... Other plans are: Koni's with weltmeister springs (already in posession) Heigo 7-points Rollcage (also in posession) Full respray (by next summer) Also bought a second interior set to cut down to fit the rollcage (minor adjustments on the carpet, rear seat and dash) |

Thx
![]() About the 911, an old woman left her parking spot but didn't see me coming, so I hit her at about 80-90Km/h. Front wheel took most of the hit and torsed the chassis... Hope it 'll be some better weather soon cuz it's still snowing aroud here...

once you determine which seals need replacing......i usually drive mine (if possible) to a car wash and lay on a cardboard box and spray it with engine cleaner or dish soap, and clen it so it isnt such a dirty job.
if the car does not run, i lay carpet or cardboard under it to catch the gunk, and spray with engine cleaner, then brush it with a bottle brush or wire brush if needed. helps a lot if you can see what you are doing.

Car is indeed not running at the moment.
It has been stored for about 7 years now, so I'm planning on replacing the belts first. Removing the undertray was the first step
