A few pics cuz I'm bored and can't afford to order any more parts or tools. I can't wait for spring.

My 944 on route 944. just thought it was cool.

Gotta start them young. My then 3 year old (be 4 this week) helping me work on the 944.

Let them work on the cars just don't let them drive them. My daughter was raised working on cars with me and now at 21 knows a lot more than most of the young men she hangs out with.
I have your cars twin and love it more than most I own.

Hey, he's got a can of WD-40 and 1/2 a roll of duct tape. What else could you possibly need

Sunny days of Spring it will be out - all new interior as the old was pretty trashed - Re-covered the seats in leather along with leather dash, A-pillars, front-top Panel, well a complete leather interior, hand sewn by me. Rebuild Rack and Pinion - Replace all clutch hydraulics (Master & Slave) along with clutch plate plate and Pressure plate - Total brake rebuild, master cyl to parking brake shoes, every thing (Earl's is bending up new S.S. lines for it) - 9 small body dings and complete paint. Keeps me busy on winter days...Spring and early Summer I have a secondary motor on the side that's a complete rebuild and going in then. The whole car will be as close to new as I can get it. Oh yes, during the motor re-placement a re-built Torque Tube and LSD Transaxle replacement. P-cars are definitely addictive...

Duct tape is great for bundling wires - Old wrap was falling apart, and of course WD-40 for frozen nuts and screws. Replaced several wires as they to were old and very brittle, some of the sheath was off already off.

Nothing more expensive than a cheap Porsche.

the spindle broke. the spindle keeps the wheel attached to the control and the strut. so after it breaks, the only thing that keeps the wheel attached is the brake line. This broke the spindle and the brake caliper but everything else was actually ok.

i was at thunderhill raceway in northern california for a PCA time trial. you can see from the picture it was wet. i was on track in a long left hander(turn2) and the spindle just snapped. not very dramatic, just felt something go and pulled over to stop. i suppose those toyo RA1s give good grip even in the wet.

this car has been timetrialing since 1992 and now is racing in 944spec, maybe the mileage has something to do with it(about 180,000mi). i replaced the hollow(for the speedo cable) left front spindle with one from a later car.
