I need help......
 

Ok....bear with me here.about 3 months ago I cleaned my throttle body with air intake cleaner which is supposed to be safe for all sensors,well I cleaned the throttle body with the car running and I kept it running until I was done. After it idled on it's own and I got everything cleared up I went ahead and shut it off,cleaned my mess up ..tools ect. Then I got in it to go home and the car was missing at idle and running kinda rough. Now it's been doing this ever since. Sunday night I decided that I would take the AAV off and see if it clogged up or anything, well I got it off and it was almost all the way shut,so I cleaned it real well. Then I put it back together it ran the same afterwards. So I said f*** it! Then I went over to a freind of mines house last night and we went down to the gas station to get gas in his car,I was following him and we got alittle crazy pulling out on to the road,he got alittle side ways and so did I, ANYWAY when I got to the gas station the car was idleing about 1100 rpm and it kinda surged at idle it would be about 1100 rpm then it would drop down to about 600 or 700 rpm for a split second then went back to 1100 rpm. I t did this about 4 times in 5 min.............Before I cleaned my throttle body the car ran smooth and perfect,and now when I get up to 80 mph and floor it ,it acts like it dosn't really want to pull like it used too. I did spray the cleaner through the air flow meter,did that fry it? HELP
P.S. I already changed the O2 sensor.

You trashed your oxygen sensor.

A shot in the dark but....

Check the wiring of your TPS. Also, check for a disconnected or cracked vacuum hose.

Your AFM should be fine. I have cleaned mine before with no adverse effects. Ditto on the above post. I had some symptoms like this and after some long frustrurating hours of diagnoses it turned out to be the wiring to the AFM. It had been rubbing against the manifold and was worn through. When I took a few things apart to clean I moved it and it was shorting. And of course just like the above always check the vacuum lines! Good luck!

Could it have fried the TPS? The reason why I think the cleaner killed something is because it started immedately after I sprayed the cleaner through. I didn't really move anything around. Thanks

Anything is possible. But the TPS is attached to the outside of the throttle body. Spraying inside should not effect it. But an easy check is to attach a garden variety multimeter to it and check for proper resistance as you move the throttle plate.

You could check the 944 TPS switch with a continuity tester. I think the middle terminal is common. With the throttle closed there should be continuity to one of the other terminals & closed to the other. On wide open the continuty is opposite.
