Well I think this falls under the topic of the car is your property so you are allowed to do what you want to it (as long as it is legal). And I would say I personally prefer the stock look of the 944 although if I buy a 944S2 I might have the door rails removed because I like the clean look of my 1984 944.
Having said all that.... artistically I think it looks pretty cool!
So all you purist be happy that the 944's styling is so timeless that young people are attracted to it and realize that some of them are going to want to "trick out" their cars (especially us crazy Californians).

Wow, I think it looks great. Or actually, it can look great. The Porsche 944 is made for something like that. If you pick the right image in the right color, that is.

This must be the 10th time I've said it on Pelican boards:
"It's your car, do what you like." That said, opinions you get here are just that ... opinions.

Maybe a little guidance: I think your first choice is a little ricey; however, maybe that's a loose term. Most street painters/designers happen to be into rice at the moment, so we associate their work with the brands of cars they're using - their pallets.

I'll try not to get deep, but I'm having fun: The shape of the 924/944/968 is beautiful, BUT it's a snapshot of what Porsche thought would sell in the years it was offered. It's called 'provenance', or understanding why something IS by understanding why it WAS (something close to that anyway). Try looking at some graphics Porsche Werks used with those models when the factory raced them. In those years, Teutonic Porsche actually looked to other cultures for their racing designs. Fortunately this was for paint only (thank goodness, or we might all be driving Citroens!) as the shape was determined by the function (remember the Bauhaus!).

Anyway, sorry for the rant. Be you. Have fun. Cheers

Hi. it looks cool and all, but there isnt really anything like that you need to do to a porsche. it seems everything else is a step down if you know what i mean. my car had a racing stripe, but i peeled that off.

Hey Euro Spec,

Yall, probably seen my graffic...so

PERSONALLY, I think the graffic your looking at is too big and OT for my liking

That would look good on a Chevy, not a Porsche.

I'm not against grafffics, cos they personalize your car and is easily removable (if it's a decal)

Think about what your trying to say about your car (and yourself)
maybe choose a decal in that vein.

However if you like it go fot it. But if your asking for an opionion, I've given you mine

good luck

Quite frankly not meaning to sound harsh... it looks horrible. There are some effects + bumper stickers I think are awesome + cool but not for my 944... just my opinion

come to think of it...i think i'd rather make my windows look like the yellow pages instead of the paint. Not to mention if the decals remain on there for a while and if i take them off later. The paint will look uneven.

yeah, but i had to end it, he was getting too possessive.

seriously, that wasn't a dig at p0r at all. i seem to remember someone photoshopping his name on someone's wife or girlfriend a while back...along the same vein.
