Where is my DME?

Can somebody tell me where the dme is located. I have an 86 944. I thought ii was behind the glove compartment. Maybe somebody stole it. That would explain why my car is starting. Interesting. Seriously, where is it and how do i get to it?

Below the glovebox, against the rear wall of the passenger footwell, fold down the carpet. You will find a wooden board with four screws. Remove the screws and pull away the wooden panel. There it is!

Thank you. I've been looking all over for that thing. I pulled the cruise control computer thinking that it was the dme.
