Easy cab top safety bypass
This allows you to raise/lower the top while the engine is running.
In the fuse box, remove relay G21, jumper pins 1 to 2, and pin 8 to ground. I drilled a small hole in the case and attached the ground there because I could not find a ground on any unused relay sockets. G21/pin 7 reads ground when the key is off, but reads 40ohms when the key is on. ![]()

all you really needed to do was cover or disconnect pin 6 of the relay
i ran that way for a long time - then i got freaked out by so many broken bow nightmares that i went into manual mode - much faster, and no chance of a motor wigging out and snapping a very expensive bow and ripping the top Last edited by flash968; 07-28-2010 at 05:21 PM.. |

Yup, I just tried it, covering pin 6 works. How did you discover that?

That makes no sense. There are no fuses being bypassed the way I did it.
