968 Storage Compartment conversion
 

I have found my 968 storage compartment. I'm going to delete the rear seats. Has anyone done this?
Is it a direct fit?
Will I need to carpet where the rear seats were?
I will need to re-carpet it. Where can I get an exact match to my '86 944 interior?
Id like to somehow keep my rear cargo cover. I use it a lot.

some people have done it - it is not a perfect fit - the cab interior panels sit well inboard relative to the hardtop panels, due to the convertible top mechanism behind them - so, there will be a gap between the horizontal surface and the interior panels

but they do fit
