CV-joint. Need to know orientation of seperator
I messed up when cleaning my CV-joints. The paint I used did not stand up to the cleaner, and now I no longer know which way the separator should go in.
One side has a larger bevel than the other. I'm guessing this bevelled side goes towards the half shaft, but I would like to be certain. Generic, non-944 CV-joint.

I should off course make it clear that this is for a 1990 turbo. There may be some differences to earlier joints.

The larger bevel is towards the inside, where the boot goes.
I just did take the CV joints off the 968 Tip and ordered new ones. I went to the garage to look.
