charcoal canister
I'm doing some weight reduction to my car and i would also like to eliminate the charcoal canister. Can it be eliminated without causing any problems to the normal running of the car ? How can i eliminate it ?

You can take it out, but where are you planning on routing the gas fumes to the outside. There isn't really all that great of a weight savings by removing the canister, plus you have to remove the fender liner to remove it. The real weight saving is in removing the old thick tar sound proofing from the floor area. I guess it was great in its day and it is a royal PITA to remove. The new stuff is much better and does not weigh all that much.

I already removed all the sound deadning including the tar sheets plus a lot more things.I'm down to the more unusual things now and the charcoal canister is one of them .The fender liners are also gone and the fenders are off so no problem there.
I was thinking of rooting the line into the intake so it will burn all the gasses.

filled with flammable vapors..... from a large vapor pocket sitting atop a fuel reservoir..... to your engine....INTAKE... so your engine will now be sucking this vaporpipe encouraging evaporation from the tank.... Color me paranoid.....but....while more airflow in the gas tank doesnt sound good.....your vaporhose sounds like a fuse just waiting for the opportunity to flashback....which sounds DISASTROUS or am I missing something here?
