I think it's sorta kewl, but I'd like to see a pic of one after a few years of service. If nothing else, the inside would slowly build up with "belt powder."

running without a cover is just stupid...imagine a piece of anything getting lodged in the belts while running and destroying your engine because it looks better without it.....there's a reason there on there....as for the belt powder..take it off and wash it....

Cool

I kinda like the cover... Gives you a visual and still offers protection. With these engines it's better safe than sorry!

If it will eliminate your fear factor about the how the belts look and cost is no object to you, go ahead and buy one. The cover still distorts what you are looking at in my small opinion. It all boils down to what YOU like and what You want that matters the most.

Cheers,
Larry

Just think how cool it will look after a few thousand miles of belt dust, are you going to be willing to remove it fairly frequently to clean it and keep it looking cool?

It's Saturday, you are outside washing your pride and joy, now comes that job we all dislike so much, cleaning the brake dust from the nooks and crannies on our wheels, finally get the job done, and aw crap, gotta clean the belt dust out of my cool clear lexan belt cover.

BTW, the safest way to clean lexan is to wax it....water and a rag will put fine scratches on it, many cleaners will discolor it, and heaven forbid you snap a p/s or a/c belt.

Use the $125 for something more useful like a few tanks of gas.

Fuel lines, Belts, Lindsey 5 way sway bar, KLR strut brace..... There are lots of things for these cars around that.... Hell if you are worried about looks get a new coolant tank. You can see it more and it takes that aged look out.
