Question valve cover

The valve cover seal is spitting the smallest amount of oil out when I first start up (first 20min). Can I just tighten down a bit, or do I need to be careful to have a certain amount of force?

Sounds like you're in a strange position; what I mean is, you can't just open up the cover because you'll probably have more leaks when you put it back on regardless of whether you install new gaskets. Another thing is that, IIRC you shouldn't exceed 15 lb/ft of torque on the hex screws. Try putting some gunk of some kind along the gasket where the leak is coming from...Jim on Rennlist touched on this recently. -Trevor
