Porsche Crest Brakes

im wondering why my brakes seem to shake when slowing down from fast speeds, u might say from warped rotors doestnt seem like it because today i did triple digits and slowed down no shaking this time + they seem to squeal from on side and when front tires in air they keep spining for alongggg time

might do new brakes new year zimmerman cross drilled brakes and pagid pads

have you made sure all of your hardware is present and properly fastened? have you checked for end play?

so bushings would make it shake stoping from high speeds, and some times my brake pad light goes on shut of car turn back on is off i might have to look into more detail either way next season will deff take brakes off if they want to since they been on there for a very long time

A clunking noise can also be that your bolts holding your steering knuckle to the strut are loosening up. This is a very common issue with 944's, especially if they are tracked.

For me, it was a clunk when going to full/near full lock at slow speeds. The camber was out and I had to have it aligned again.

Now I check those bolts before every track day.

Many racers weld some supports to the struts, or tack weld the bolt to the strut to prevent movement.

Good luck, Keith

I would look into the bolts as keith said. the reason I suggested bushings is because they have lead to weird issues for me before. over time they not only wear but flow and it will lead you to strange problems.
