PET parts..up to and from vin numbers ??

Can someone help me..my vin number is WP0AB0943HN473569--87 944 n/a

I am trying to figure out which hatch locks to get and there are 3 different part numbers for each right and left lock....I am replacing the locks because the rubber bushings inside which the pins rest on are gone and tired of the rattling...

say for example for right side..from PET

477827506A--rear lid lock
F >>94FN4 50103.......does this mean up to ?

94453895601--rear lid lock

F 94HN4 6001>>94JN4 65546.........944S
F 94FN4 50104>>94JN4 73458........944
F 95GN1 50001>>95JN1 51355........TURBO


So am I correct in assuming that the 94453895601 would be the part because it falls inbetween the second set of to and from numbers for 944

Looks to me like your VIN falls in the second one.

The first one (477 part number) is up to early 85.

The second one works. The "H" in your VIN stands for MY 87. i.e. 84 would be E, 85 would be F and so on. I think they skipped I. "J" is obviously later than "H"

try looking at the individual parts. usually they are improved, and receive a new part number.
