944 cruise control servo help!
 

Ok so I have opened my cruise control servo and cleaned all the strips and now I need to reassemble the unit. Here is where I'm having problems. As I'm trying to put the cover back on I cannot figure out which location the servo is supposed to be in. After it's all closed up, is the servo supposed to be connected to the half spring on the inside or is it supposed to be loose in there?

If no one answers this I will go home and take mine apart again tonight. I honestly can't remember from the time I cleaned the strips. I'm taking mine off anyways so it may as well be today. cleaning the strips did not help anything on mine.
