no joke man, my neighbor races those things.
he runs them in his driveway, its long,(i live in the country), like 100 meters or longer, anway, he starts up by his house. From my point of view, i can only see the last 30 meters of his driveway cause most is covered by trees. anyway, he takes off, and you hear this loud burst of sound that sounds like 50 weed-eaters reving all at once. but the sound only lasts like a half a second, if that long. by the time he hits the edge of his culdasac (sp?)he has stopped, slightly sliding in the gravel. i guess its hard to explain. the point is, my house is far, like looking across 6 acres, and by the time the burst of sound from the engine gets to my house, he's gone from 0-100-0. fast. |
