Purchase Factory manual set?

After reading multitudes of questions and answers I have come to the conclusion I need the complete set of factory manuals for my 944. I have Haynes right now. Does the set include much help on diagnostics? That's really what I need because I don't know s*** when attacking a problem. My Mac computer won't run the CD version and Pelican offers them for about $225, the cheapest I have found. Worth the money or not?

You can get a cheap PC and the CD for cheaper than the manuals on paper.

The books do give some (emphasis on some) diagnostic procedures. They are written for mechanics - therefore, some procedures (clutch master and slave cylinder removal/replacement immediately come to mind) are not covered at all, based on the assumption that you should already know that..

$225 is the cheapest price that I have seen them.
