Okay, I'm trying to remove my crankshaft pulley...but I ran into a problem. The Hanes' manual says there are four bolts holding the crank pulley, they also have it pictured. I'm not seeing/feeling these four bolts. Am I missing something? My car is an '87 951.
Also...how do I go about using my flywheel lock?

I was going to try this job too - but on the NA, not the 951. Let me know what you find out. I'm eager to learn anything you might not find obvious. I find NOTHING obvious!

Your not seeing things. There is one 24mm main that needs to come of first. It requires in upwards of 300ft/lbs to break so be ready with a cheater bar! If you don't already have one get a flywheel lock, or equiveline to lock the pulley in place.

I have a 5' cheater bar and the flywheel lock. I'm not quite sure what I do with the lock.

Take the starter off, install the lock so the engine won't turn over, take the 24 mm bolt loose,(I used a torque wrench and a piece of pipe) then slide a pry bar behind the pulley and pry GENTLY that is plastic behind there. When reinstalling (my 83 n/a) book says to torque to 155 ft pounds. torque maybe different for your 951,so make sure you check it out. Good luck
