Effective Hood Insulation Glue Residue Remover?
I'm having a heck of a time removing the old hood insulation glue residue - having tried a product called "OOPS" along with a plastic scraper...which seems to just move stuff around but does not remove it.
At any rate...could anyone recommend a truly effective glue-residue remover? Thanks! |

3M adhesive remover is a good product but I find it very volatile (evaporates real quick). Last year I removed a lot of cosmoline (very sticky stuff) and diesel fuel worked the best. It was great. Im not sure it will work for the insulation glue...but it is cheap and readily available...worth a try.
