weird growling when accelerating on about 5000rpm
 

I think the noise is coming from transmission hitting the body but if not, does the clutch shaft has bearings and does they make sound even on normal drive if they are bad?

it is called a transmission mount, and they are fairly easy to change...there is just one of them, located over the top of the transmission. The transmission actually hangs from the mount.

Make sure your exhaust isn't touching the car also.
