The third person sits sideways -

Some of the very early 924's did not have rear belts as the dummy rear seat was for US insurance purposes. Shortly later the belts were added to to comply with a functional seat - haw.

What he said! Haha I have a 924 and have had buds that always wanna ride in it. And I tell em only 2 fit. And the third one is like I'll for in the back seat no prob! So me enjoying a nice entertaining Jump in the back seat. He lauded down sideways across and he actually said it was comfortable! Hahaha I've had that happen quite a few times. Crazy things people do to ride in a Porsche....hahahah

Long time ago, when there were still Drive-In-Movies I used to have the back seat down, and moved the top of the front seats folded forward, and a roll of foam between the gap there, and then a big piece of foam covering the entire area - it was a big as a double bed, almost. We could snuggle and watch the movie in comfort... No curtains though...

My teenage son can fit in the back seat of my 944 - so long as I remove the sunroof so he can stick his head out of it!

The rear hatch space with the rear seat down has an incredible amount of room!
