I like it but IMHO if you do it, the car will need a bright paint on the wheels, mirrors, etc. A bright color will make it pop. The colored parts should be high gloss to counter the matte. Also yu could put "Porsche" or a stripe on the quarter pannels or down the top of the car.

Thanks good advice

i hesitate with silver/white or red decals and emblems (the 944 and turbo on the back and those decals http://www.ebay.com/itm/PORSCHE-Custom-Decal-Set-924-924S-944-etc-WHITE-/370530461273?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item5645562659

i dont really have budget for the wheels or it would have been those

do you know if matte paint are hard to keep clean? not only from dirt but scratches (resistant)
i also hesitate between base coat clear coat or acrylic paint

I will go this way with it (black/clear lens & Cup wheels & 968 mirrors)not matt black. But to each his own it's a choice of personal taste

This is wise to but the priority where needed the most,no use having a looker that you can't drive anywhere.Personally my choice will be gloss since I like my car to have a nice shine to it, plus there is enough ricey matt black Honda out there lol .Can't see myself trying to wax & clean a matt colored one,it migth be quiet a challenge to keep clean in a long run.But like mention it's a question of taste & the car is yours not mine, those are the reason I'll go gloss.

thank you very much for the advice.
ya... ill stay with the oem color...
the car is all on its steel. , only lead welding and lime, and bit of fiber/putty. so freaking long to do.
i am using a p30 black primer
have 2 option now
acrylic paint or base coat clear coat

acrylic deep black gloss. very strong paint, can wet the chamber before painting so no dust. but if there is dust... need to repaint the part, cant use compound

base coat/clear coat the A041 color porsche/volks 1988 ( base that goes in the colour... deep black 100%, no white no yellow no blue, has the original paint. no metalic, only pure deep black.
high gloss clear Elegance from sherwin williams
better finish

basecoat/clearcoat a bit more expensive

ps. ill send picture of the car on the primer
