Fill and sand like body work. There are some two part liquid polyeurathane products, like is used for filling the transmission mounts.
Mine is cracked in half. I am going to seal the crack with RTV then sandwich it with thin aluminum plates riveted in place.

I fixed the one on my old turbo with a piece of aluminum and pop rivets. If I remember correctly, I could not find an adhesive that would make a good bond to the plastic. Either way you need a piece of aluminum or plastic as a doubler over the crack.

That's about what I was figuring you'd need to do. Don't expect to find an adhesive that will stick to that black poly.

If you rough the surface up it may be possible to get a better bond. Do you think the long strand fiberglass bondo would work?
