Ernie9944:

I cannot find a source for the 928.701.167.04 sticker/label. I had a worn label for my Linen Metallic (LM1U) P951 - model year 1989, and it was removed during an engine bay detailing a couple of years ago.

Who is the source of the reproduction label you have proudly (and thankfully) shared on this thread? Appreciate your reply!

There is no source since them decals are NLA & can't be found anywhere, but if you find a readable example of your Linen Metallic 951 I can get one replicated for you.In facts until now I got five made & there is six more waiting to be done even had a guy from the 993 RL forum getting one made.Best thing to do will be to ask on different 951 forums & see if someone can come out with one.Once I get a readable pic & we are sure it's the correct color code I will contact you by PM giving all the infos on how to get one done.Once more I will like to emphasize that there is no monetary gain for me in doing this just a service to our community.

Ernie, here's a pic of the location. It's not in the best condition, do you think you can get me a copy?

Hi Ernie,

I cannot find the exact picture from my car, but if you can still get one more reproduction made, please include the following in a paint color label (Decal P/N 928.701.167.04):

2 Lines (versus three on your example)

1st Line (centered): Metallic Linen

2nd Line (centered): W5

Hope you can help... not particular on the font so long as the font size is as large or 25% larger than the one you used. Wilfred

Sorry Wilfred,I can't get those decals done unless I have a readable example, the infos your giving me is not good enougth.First they are all the same size 3" long X 1 3/8 wide can't make them no bigger or smaller.Yes on your decal there will be LINEN METALLIC & W5 written on it ,but there will also be the year of the car + other infos that are not included in your spare cubby hole sticker.Letters & numbers have a patern to them they are not just block .Yes he could make one with anything written on it but it would simply not be a faithful duplicate of the OEM you had in your car.Sending you a real good pic of a Polar Silver one, look at it carefully & you'll know what I mean.

Hi Ernie 9944,

Totally understand this dilemma. Here are two images that represent my paint code sticker. Please let me know if your guy needs a better picture! Wilfred

Exact Dimensions of the Alpinweiss decal ?

Might ANYONE know the dimensions of this particular Alpinweiss decal on the 944's? I am trying to have it reproduced. I believe it's the same as the other color code decals in this thread, just looking for confirmation. Thanks.
