Automatic Shift Knob
 

I know, unfortunately I have an automatic transmission. Anyway, my shift knob is pretty worn and I would like to replace it. It's a side button shift knob, but can I replace it with a top button shifter, or do I have to replace it with the same style. Maybe this is a stupid question, but just checking to be sure.
