front bumper mod and red tail lights?
 
for anyone out there that did the fornt bumper mod what did you use to get the bumperettes off? also i went to pep boys for the transluscent paint and it was nowhere to be found so what the dilly?

When the bumper is off you can unbolt the bumperettes from underneath I belive it will leave you with four small holes.

Yeah, when you take the bumper off, and you have to to get at the shocks behind which the bumper is bolted too anyway, you will see the 4 small nuts that My Lord is referring too. Cake.

You won't find the paint you want at Pep Boy's, go to the Wally World toy dept. in the model section and look for the little Testors spray paint number 1605 Transparent Candy Apple Red, one 3 oz. can should be enough.

I'm still thinking about the bumper mod. I don't know if it's worth getting rid of the bumper shocks yet. anyone have any pictures from a distance of this mod? i've seen a few but I need to see more...

Those are all killer pics of Shaun's car... I wanna see a new one with his new turbo front splitter he just install, bet it's lookin good!

just wondering how do you make the tail light completely red?
do you just paint over the orange and white parts or do you have to take out the color first?

oh ok i had trouble getting the other bolt off to remove the bumper so i was just takin a look at how to get em off thanks. damn shaun's car looks good!
