performance chips?
 

I am curious about what anyone could tell me about the options I have for a performance chip for my 1987 924s. I am just trying to do my research before wasting any money. Thanks for the info!

I just stumbled on my weltmeister chip over the weekend. For the $$$$ it was ok. Basically it appears to change the timing and require you to run 91 or 93 octane fuel. I never actually checked but the 10hp +/- they claim is probably accurate.

I think wilks has one out that many say is an improvement over stock. I think it is price compared to the weltmeister but from all accounts it is probably a bit better.

I went to stand alone ignition so I removed mine and put the stock one back in.

I think I paid $125 for the Weltmister chip about 10 years back. What is the going rate for the FR Wilk chip and others these days?
