Rotisserie
Hi all,
Anyone ever use a car rotisserie for a 944 restoration? Looks like it would make life a lot easier. Thanks Jeff |

i have 5 of them in my shop .
you should not use them on a unibody car if you plan on doing any cutting or welding on the car . a uniody car only gives you 5MM for it's tolerances so that will be 2.5MM plus or minus . now you could do all kinds of cross bracing in the car so it will not sag but that in it's self is a PITA . then you now have to work around all the bracing . for the most part there is not much to do on the under side of the 944 chassis . they tend not to be rot boxes . the most rot you will find for the most part is under the battery and on the back sides of the wheel openings . |

Ihave seen quite a few 944's with rotten outer and even inner sills( rocker panels?) here in UK.

Here's my '83 on the rotisserie. It makes scraping undercoating a whole bunch easier. Well worth the money IMHO. Your back will thank you...
