i took the rear bumper strips off and the bolts snapped

Hey guys i took my rear bumper strips off and i turned the wrech once and the bolts snapped off nowi cant put them back on ideas

No worries, just dig out the remmants of the embedded heads and JB weld some new (and short) carriage bolts in as replacements. Be sure to use some contact cement when affixing them to the bumper and voila, you're done!

It was the first thing in the car that broke so easy it didnt sttip it more like one turn and it snapped in half

I'm planning on taking mine off entirely. The car looks cleaner and after filling and repainting, It'll be a better look.

i actually started doing that it looks nice it looks better with a diffuser

I did the same thing with rubber bumper parts that had the metal parts rusted out. Works good enough for a daily driver

I had to dig out all the rusted steel that was still in the part

mk3gt same thing happened to me. I eventually bought used replacements from DC Automotive.
I soaked the used pads in rejunivator for several days before reinstalling them. Replacements look brand new after 2 years of use.
