Stereo fader control in a 1988?
I have the option code for the premium sound system, and the speaker grilles in the door, but the original speakers (except the tweeters in the door) have been disconnected and/or removed. Someone installed some round 6" speakers in the doors. That was all I had when I got it. Someone obviously added an aftermarket stereo and plopped the old factory deck in before selling the car at some point. I now added a Bose woofer box and some Bose sattelite speakers wired into the rear speaker outputs.
The deck is the original (I assume) Blaupunkt Reno stereo with cassette (of which I have 2, Cream's greatest hits and the Eagles Greatest hits Volume 1!) I wanted to send more signal to the rear speakers, and lo and behold, NO FADER CONTROL anywhere I can find on or off the stereo. My '86 had the fader on the console, I see nothing anywhere on this one. Anyone? Jeff

ah HA!
Never mind...I found it. If you pull on the volume knob on the stereo and turn it, that adjusts the fade. Jeff
