I want to fix these Blaupunkt speakers I have. All 4 have the same problem: the tweeter works but not the main speaker. Otherwise, the condition appears good. The ones that I want to fix are different and look newer than some others I have..
Here are my speakers that need fixing. Are they stock rears?
I've tested several 4x6 speakers over the last few days. I was amazed to find that the original 26-yr-old Blaupunkt speakers in the 944 (the paper cone type without the tweeter) were far and away the contest winners in terms of range (truly surprising lows and expected highs), volume, and just overall. Even my "audiophile" friend was impressed with these little guys from W. Germany.
